01 / Overview

What this notice covers.

This notice covers your visit to guildhelm.com and messages you choose to send to Guildhelm Studios by email.

This website is operated by GUILDHELM STUDIOS LTD, trading publicly as Guildhelm Studios. The company number, registered office and other operator details are set out in the website notice.

The site currently has no user accounts, checkout, newsletter form, advertising system or marketing profiles. Its playable website experiences run in your browser. Guildhelm does not receive their scores, choices or interaction progress.

02 / Anonymous analytics

A page count, only if you allow it.

Guildhelm asks before using its first-party anonymous analytics. If you choose Allow analytics, the site sends only the public page path and current date to Guildhelm's own database. The database increments one aggregate total for that page and day. Guildhelm's analytics code does not record an IP address, visitor or account identifier, device details, referrer, campaign data, gameplay choices or events, and it does not perform cross-site tracking.

Your choice is saved in local storage under guildhelm:analytics-consent:v1 so the site can respect it on later visits. No analytics request is made unless the saved choice is accepted. A browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a decline even when analytics was previously allowed.

Aggregate daily counts are pruned during normal analytics operation after approximately 400 days. Because they contain no way to identify an individual visitor, changing your choice stops future counts but cannot subtract a past visit from an anonymous total. This analytics does not set an analytics cookie and is not shared with an advertising network.

Guildhelm's private reporting page is separate from public analytics collection. It uses ChatGPT sign-in and a server-held owner allowlist before showing aggregate totals. The signed-in account email is checked for access but is not written to the page-count database. Public visitors do not need an account and are never signed in by this feature.

Current choice: not set

The Storage and cookies record lists the exact browser keys used for this choice and future language suggestions.

03 / Infrastructure

Hosting and security requests.

Guildhelm.com is delivered through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. As with most hosted websites, those services may process technical request information such as an IP address, request time and path, browser or user-agent details, and network or security signals needed to deliver and protect the site.

Cloudflare may set an essential security and bot-management cookie currently identified as __cf_bm. Guildhelm does not use that cookie for advertising or Guildhelm's optional page-count analytics. Provider retention and handling of this technical data are controlled by the relevant infrastructure provider; their exact retention periods are not currently known to Guildhelm Studios.

04 / Contact

When you email the studio.

The contact composer runs in your browser. The name, email address, enquiry type and message you enter are kept in the current page only: the website does not upload, store or submit them. When you choose to continue, the page passes a prepared draft to your selected email application. You must review the draft and press Send there before a message is delivered.

Press and media drafts are addressed to press@guildhelm.com; creator, partnership and general drafts are addressed to contact@guildhelm.com. Your email application and email provider may process the draft once it is opened. If you send it, Guildhelm receives the address, name and message content you provide, together with any attachments and the ordinary delivery metadata created by email services.

The optional Copy email control only asks your browser to copy the public studio address to your clipboard. Using it does not send a message or transfer clipboard contents to Guildhelm.

Guildhelm Studios Ltd uses correspondence to respond to and manage press, creator, partnership or general enquiries. Messages are not automatically added to a marketing list. Email providers may process and retain the message as part of operating the inbox. Guildhelm may keep correspondence for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, related business records, dispute handling or applicable legal requirements; there is no single fixed period for every message.

05 / Your choices

Your information and your rights.

For personal information contained in studio correspondence, UK data protection law may give you rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, depending on the circumstances. Email contact@guildhelm.comwith "Privacy enquiry" in the subject and enough detail to locate the relevant message. Guildhelm may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office through ico.org.uk.
